- Have lived in San Diego since the early 1970's, spend as much time at the beach as possible. Retired RN, nine years now, most of my career spent in emergency departments. Loving every day of retirement freedom, oh yeah! I wake up in the morning deciding for myself what to do with the day. Married, one adult son who has been in the Air Force for ten years, wonderful step-daughter, step-son, wife and grandson in Colorado, all we don't see often enough.
